About Our Company
By Texas standards, CAM is a relatively young company, incorporated in 1991. On the other hand, our staff has experience which pre-dates the very existence of many community management companies throughout the Houston Area.
The two principals of the company, who also perform hands-on management duties for our clients, are residents of the Kingwood area, and they have a combined 45 years experience specific to the community association management industry. Their "no-nonsense" approach to community management comes from home ownership and experience as directors on homeowner association boards and on utility district boards, as well as from their experience on the service side of the board room table.
CAM managers hold the designations of CMCA® (Certified Manager of Community Associations), and AMS® (Association Management Specialist) as such designations are accredited by the National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers.
Our office is located in the City of Humble, and we are heavily involved with communities on the north side of Houston. We are equipped with a state-of-the-art computer system which operates proprietary software which was designed and developed by the owners of CAM explicitly for community association management. Serving the unincorporated areas of north and east Harris County, we are members of the Community Associations Institute (CAI), Greater Houston Neighborhood Associations (GHNATexas), and of The Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce.
We are also sensitive to the need for all community associations to minimize operating expenses. From the outset, you will find this illustrated by the fact that, even though start-up costs can be formidable, we will not pass through costs to the association such as: a "set up" fee, file maintenance fees, nor costs of office supplies such as envelopes, computer forms, or CAM-generated stationery (your personalized association letterhead).
